Recent Project: Farmers Insurance
We recently had the privilege of working for Farmers Insurance on an interactive CD-ROM they were creating. The CD needed to be used to distribute documents to their clients in a branded, simple, and versatile way. It had to be cross-platform compatible and make their documents easily accessible once the CD was loaded, as well as install any necessary viewing software.
Using Adobe Flash technology, we took their initial designs and used them to construct a custom navigation system with some cool animations. We also created a platform detection system to load the correct software and documents depending on the user's OS and then embedded the documents and software into the system. For the icing on the cake, we created a Farmers logo icon to be shown on the user's desktop when the CD was inserted and made the disc auto run, loading the presentation and getting the user straight into the documents.
The CD worked perfectly and Farmers was pleased with the results. We really enjoyed working with them and being a part of the project. If you're in the market for insurance, be sure to check out their website. They'll take good care of you. Maybe they'll even send you one of our cool CDs!
